During nighttime when it’s dark out, brain releases Melatonin supplement to help our body to go to sleep. When the light is detected, secretion of melatonin level is inhibited and many wakefulness-promoting hormones also take over.

As Melatonin plays a very important role for regulating the clock and sleep pattern of the body, this supplement is highly used when the sleep problems arrive. However, it can help with the different types of the anxiety. Thus, can melatonin help with anxiety? Definitely it really helps in reducing the anxiety level in your body and keeps you calm.

Melatonin for Anxiety

Many studies support use of the Melatonin for anxiety disorder. One study found that the Melatonin supplements improved depression and anxiety in the elderly participants to the significant extent. Another study notes Melatonin is actually involved in various physiological functions in your body and will lead to the mental and health problems when the function is impaired.
