The brain gets signals from eyes through the nerve pathway, which detect amount of light present in an ambient environment, After that, brain responds by secreting an appropriate hormone, and changing our body’s core temperature as well as taking actions that are involved with this cycle. During nighttime when it’s dark out, brain releases Melatonin supplement to help our body to go to sleep.
